Title: Regional Operations Director (Midlands Division)

Role: To oversee and support all the services and the Registered Managers within my regional division. Liaise and work closely with Local Authorities and Commissioner Bodies; to develop the area and provide new services for local people who need support.  I empower my team to strive for success, motivate everyone I work with to ensure every customer receives the best care from our services.

Experience: I have worked in the health and social care sector for 23 years.  I started thinking about my career whilst at school, from 14 years old I knew I wanted to work within a caring role, completing my GNVQ Health & Social Care Qualifications whilst doing my GCSE’s and then at A Level.  Over the years I have worked for Local Authority and the Private Care Sector within residential care settings.  I moved into Home Care in 2005 where I held various roles; Registered Manager (England and Wales), Regional Operations Manager, Regional Quality Manager and National Branch Manager Trainer and Mentor. I have gained further experience managing a large Nursing Home to develop my knowledge further prior to this role I am now in.  I love my work, and feel I always strive to make a difference to every customer we have the privilege of supporting.

Qualification: GNVQ Health & Social Care Foundation, GNVQ Health & Social Care Advance, NVQ BTEC Level 3 Promoting independence, NVQ BTEC Level 4 Leadership & Management.

Interests: I love arts and crafts, I recently got married, and thrived on all the planning and preparing for our big day.  I love music and enjoy experiencing live music events, I enjoy movies (especially Disney) and love going to the cinema. Swimming is a passion, I’m like a water baby and enjoy swimming at any given opportunity.  Travelling and driving is also an interest, I experienced the World Rally Championship in Wales 2019 which gave me the bug.
