Words From The Manager

As the Registered Manager of Linden Lodge, Becky is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and meaningful environment for the young people in her care. She began her career at Linden Lodge in 2018 as a Support Worker and has progressed through her roles to become Registered Manager, a position she has held for over four years.

Becky strongly believes in the therapeutic value of everyday experiences. She is particularly passionate about the positive impact that sport, outdoor activity, and connection with nature can have on a young person’s emotional wellbeing and development. She works to ensure these opportunities are embedded into daily life, helping young people to regulate, reflect, and build confidence in themselves.

At the heart of Becky’s approach is PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy). She views this not simply as a framework for practice, but as a way of building meaningful relationships. She leads by example to create a culture within the home where relationships are genuine, trusting, and based on understanding.

I have worked in Health and Social Care for 26 years and gained an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care Services. I have managed services for people living with mental Health illnesses, Learning disabilities including nursing Homes for complex individuals living with a learning disability. My job satisfaction comes from supporting complex people to live as
independently as they are able to. I have great empathy, and compassion and continuously strive in advocating to improve people’s health and wellbeing.
