Linden Lodge [Coming Soon]

Linden Lodge is a therapeutic children’s home providing highly individualised, person-centred care for up to 5 children aged 8 to 17 who present with emotional and behavioural needs and associated complex experiences. We recognise that every young person’s journey is different, and our care is shaped around their individual strengths, needs, and aspirations.

Our practice is underpinned by PACE, trauma-informed care, and attachment-aware approaches, ensuring young people are supported with empathy, consistency, and emotional safety. We focus on understanding the meaning behind behaviour and responding in ways that promote trust, regulation, and long-term resilience.

Young people are supported to engage in a wide range of community, recreational, and sporting opportunities, helping to build confidence, social skills, and positive routines. Education is actively promoted through close partnership working with schools, specialist provisions, and local authorities to ensure each young person is supported to achieve their potential.

The home provides a structured yet nurturing environment where young people are encouraged to express their views, contribute to decision-making about their care, and develop independence in preparation for adulthood.

A Home Designed Around the Young Person

Linden Lodge is located in a residential area of Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, offering a safe and supportive environment with access to local schools, leisure facilities, parks, and community resources.

The home has been designed to feel modern, warm, and homely, balancing privacy with shared spaces that promote positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Each young person has their own personalised bedroom, alongside access to shared living areas and a secure garden where they can relax, socialise, and regulate safely within the home environment.

High Aspirations, Real Outcomes

At Linden Lodge, we hold high aspirations for every young person. We support children to develop emotionally, socially, and practically through structured routines, meaningful activities, and consistent relationships with trusted adults.

Young people are encouraged to take part in community life, develop independence skills, and explore interests that support confidence and identity development. Achievements of all kinds are recognised and celebrated, helping young people build resilience and belief in their future.

Our staff team works within a culture of reflection, consistency, and high expectations, creating an environment where young people feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.

Commitment to Quality and Excellence

Our approach at Linden Lodge is grounded in person-centred planning, therapeutic relationships, and strong partnership working with families and professionals.

Young people are actively consulted about their care and supported to maintain relationships with those who are important to them. The team promotes equality, inclusion, and anti-discriminatory practice throughout the home, ensuring each young person feels respected, heard, and understood.

Through reflective practice, staff training, and ongoing development, Linden Lodge continues to strengthen its therapeutic model to ensure consistently high-quality care and positive outcomes for the young people.

Words From The Manager

As the Registered Manager of Linden Lodge, Becky is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and meaningful environment for the young people in her care. She began her career at Linden Lodge in 2018 as a Support Worker and has progressed through her roles to become Registered Manager, a position she has held for over four years.

Becky strongly believes in the therapeutic value of everyday experiences. She is particularly passionate about the positive impact that sport, outdoor activity, and connection with nature can have on a young person’s emotional wellbeing and development. She works to ensure these opportunities are embedded into daily life, helping young people to regulate, reflect, and build confidence in themselves.

At the heart of Becky’s approach is PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy). She views this not simply as a framework for practice, but as a way of building meaningful relationships. She leads by example to create a culture within the home where relationships are genuine, trusting, and based on understanding.
