Linden Lodge is a therapeutic children’s home providing highly individualised, person-centred care for up to 5 children aged 8 to 17 who present with emotional and behavioural needs and associated complex experiences. We recognise that every young person’s journey is different, and our care is shaped around their individual strengths, needs, and aspirations.
Our practice is underpinned by PACE, trauma-informed care, and attachment-aware approaches, ensuring young people are supported with empathy, consistency, and emotional safety. We focus on understanding the meaning behind behaviour and responding in ways that promote trust, regulation, and long-term resilience.
Young people are supported to engage in a wide range of community, recreational, and sporting opportunities, helping to build confidence, social skills, and positive routines. Education is actively promoted through close partnership working with schools, specialist provisions, and local authorities to ensure each young person is supported to achieve their potential.
The home provides a structured yet nurturing environment where young people are encouraged to express their views, contribute to decision-making about their care, and develop independence in preparation for adulthood.
A Home Designed Around the Young Person
Linden Lodge is located in a residential area of Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, offering a safe and supportive environment with access to local schools, leisure facilities, parks, and community resources.
The home has been designed to feel modern, warm, and homely, balancing privacy with shared spaces that promote positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Each young person has their own personalised bedroom, alongside access to shared living areas and a secure garden where they can relax, socialise, and regulate safely within the home environment.
