Lee has worked within children’s residential care since 2008, where he began his career as a residential care worker; and by developing his skills he was quickly promoted to senior care worker, and again to Deputy Manager – Homes Registered Manager; and also, most recently a manager for a 12-week Therapeutic assessment centre, where he was also a behaviour support Trainer.
Lee is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated in delivering the best possible Care and strives to ensure the young people he supports achieve their full potential. Lee has gained his experience by working within several residential settings that have offered varying support to cater for specific needs of children which has included, children that have been subject to child sexual exploitation, children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and children with severe learning and physical difficulties and extreme autism.
Lee holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (Distinction), an ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management, an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People), and qualifications in Counselling Studies. With extensive experience in residential childcare since 2008, Lee is committed to promoting trauma-informed, child-centred practice and supporting teams to deliver safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive.
Lee has many interests which include football, swimming and socialising with friends whilst playing Pool and most of all looking after his Pet Cat.
